Why Do Many People In The U.S. Believe That Martial Law Could Happen In The Near Future?

What would cause many Americans to believe that there is a good possibility Martial Law will be activated before the end of 2012?

Hmmmm .... If you give it some thought and do a little research the answers to that question becomes quite obvious.

One of the reasons that this could happen would be that the inflation rate is set to climb higher because the Federal Reserve privately owned bank printed too much money, and with nothing tangible backing it up to keep the value of the Dollar from continually dropping, it will therefore cause prices for staple items to constantly rise.

With more and more people working for minimum wage it will become much harder to maintain a budget to pay for Housing, Food, Clothing, and Personal Items, which could then cause Civil Unrest to take place, out of desperation for survival.

With that said, Oil prices have been on the rise when normally at this time of the year the prices begin to stabilize.

Another cause for Martial Law to be activated would be if Governor Romney, the Republican candidate, wins the Presidential Election and goes forward with his plans to change the way Medicare takes care of Senior citizens.

According to the Romney campaign, he and his V.P. running mate plan to end Medicare Benefits as we know it, so that they could hand out Medicare vouchers that, more than likely, won't cover Senior Citizens health care/medication costs which would then force Seniors to pull money out of their own bank accounts to pay toward it after their hard earned money had already paid toward their own Medicare Plans, while they were still working.

Seniors under the age of 65 and those people who are younger are paying toward Medicare while they work, so that they will have it when they retire. In other words, Medicare is paid for by the working people of America.

According to President Obama's plan to save the Medicare program, which is already in progress, he has cut unnecessary spending  from Medicare which was wasteful spending that was not helpful in maintaining a healthy Medicare system in the long run.

Seniors are already benefiting from this change because it is helping to lower medication costs, so that they will not need to worry that the cost of their medication will cause Financial hardship for them.

With that said, I hope that the fear of Martial Law is just an over reaction to problems that could easily be avoided by not threatening life as we know it, but to instead reach for a better solution which more people would more likely agree with.

Part of the solution would be to lower taxes for small business owners and to eliminate tax breaks for Billionaire owned Corporations that decide to cheap out on their American workers by sending jobs overseas where the Corporation can be abusive toward their foreign workers by over working and under paying them.

I am not saying that I agree with everything that the current President has done since he was elected, but I do know that when he was elected the Republicans had caused a deep Recession that caused billions of people to lose jobs that were created by Banks being unregulated, and Greed related to the Housing Market.
