Climate Change

I find myself worrying about the climate change thing as time goes by. Not so much for my sake though. I am more worried about our children and grand children. They are the ones who are going to go through some major changes and will have to learn how to live in a more hectic climate.

There are people who are still not believing that our planet is in danger. I feel sorry for them because they are wasting precious time when they could be trying to make a difference by driving less, or if possible, to give up driving their own personal vehicle by taking public transportation, or even car pooling ... either way, it would be a smart start to slowing down the eminent doom which looms in the near future.

Scientists are now saying that the climate change is happening a lot faster than they originally thought it would. It started out as something that shouldn't be happening until 30 years from now and it has recently been changed to 20 years from now ... so it seems to me that we are a lot closer to the tipping point than we thought, which is definitely not a good thing. There will be more droughts, floods, and bad winters. The rate of glaciers melting has been speeding up and many seals, walruses and polar bears are dying because of this. It is so sad because they have no idea what is happening and where the ice is going.

I really do hope that a lot of people will come across my blog. If not just for the enlightenment of the blog, or hopefully, you will decide to change your mind to want to help to make the world a better and safer place to live for your children and grand children in the future.
