The key to this U.S.D.A. warning is that when the upswing in commodity prices finally rears its ugly head, within the food system, by mid to late 2011, food prices will probably reach levels spiking to where they were in 2008.
The U.S.D.A. is also predicting that with this rise in food prices, which could increase by 3.5 percent, will bring about food riots and other civil unrest to a neighborhood or city near you, in the near future.
