The time has come for the government to come clean. The truth needs to be told. With millions upon millions of people no longer in the work force, you can be sure that we are still not experiencing an economic recovery.
For one thing, the numbers just don't add up, and yes, there is a reason for this. Back when Ronald Reagan was president, he basically cut the true unemployment number nearly in half, which you can see the results on the above chart. Now that you know this, you will realize that, when the media reports a 12% unemployment rate, they are really saying that it is closer to 20%.
The next tell tale sign that there is no recovery, is the housing market still not stabilizing. With the abundant amount of empty houses on the market, due to a tremendous amount of foreclosures, many of these empty homes are being demolished, as a way to lower the number, so that it appears that the housing market is starting to bounce back. And then there is the $8,000 first time home buyers stimulus credit, which has now come to an end. The propping up can't, and won't last.
With that said, you now need to ask yourself, "Why shouldn't I be told the truth?", "Is it because the government is afraid the we Americans, will start to revolt and try to take back our government from the incompetents, who are clearly on the side of the Wall Street Bankers and the Corporations?"
