Okay, so here I sit in my apartment gazing at all of my electronic gadgets, and I am thinking to myself, "boy, I am very glad that I already have all these entertaining things, because I certainly wouldn't be able to buy them now."
I only have one credit card. I used it wisely, and I always pay on time, oh, except for a couple of times when the bills never showed up in my mail box ... hmmmm.
The point of this blog is that, even though my debt amount is fairly low, and we always pay a little more than the minimum payment every month on time, American Express decided to start lowering my available credit amount, in which, they would let me use, which is slim to none, especially if an emergency suddenly pops up.
So, now my credit score is worth nothing in my book. No matter how good and responsible I thought I was being, when it came to my credit rating, it was all for nothing.
Okay, so what about the other people who are in debt over their heads? Is their fate going to be worse than mine? I say yes, because more than likely they didn't have a safety net in place, which even if they did, it wouldn't have been enough to save them. My safety net is living greener. No car, and living in an efficiency apartment. Only buying necessities, with cash, not credit. If you have a family then it will take the effort of your family members, along with yourself, to cut back spending, and to try to be happy with what you already have. Clothing can also be passed down to younger children.
Finally, you ask, "when will things go back to normal again?", and I say, "Normal? Normal left the building years ago!"
This is the new age, people. No one will be able to acquire their false wealth again! Not now, Not later, Not ever! The sooner that we, the people, can start to grasp that aspect of the New Age, then it will be a lot easier for the people to handle what is yet to come, between now, and the years ahead. Believe me, it pains me to write about these important issues, but because I am a person who cares about good natured people with good intentions, I feel like it is my purpose in life to let them know that they are not alone within their suffering, and that we also need to be more aware of what the people with all the wealth, and the power, are creating all around us.
This video is about the credit crunch, and what the banks and retail stores are going to do to try to get their money back before everyone defaults.
