What if you were told that a stronger than usual solar storm would be heading toward Earth by March 11th, 2011 would you believe that it would interfere with your normal routine?
According to NASA, this scenario could happen on or around that day, and yes it would possibly interfere with your normal routine, especially if you rely on your cell phone.
A severe Solar storm would also be a big threat to the power grids, and it could possibly take down our Telecommunications technology.

According to this link, when we experienced a Solar storm on Feb. 14th, 2011, it affected the communication in the Western Pacific ocean, and parts of Asia.
