If we continue to choose to look the other way when proven abuses and deaths have been happening to helpless children on a daily basis while in the care of a Child Protective Service agency, then we are just as guilty as those government run agencies are.
When we pretend not to care about other human beings who have no one else to truly protect them from personal harm just because we tell ourselves that it will never happen to any of our family members, then we should not be surprised when it does happen to someone in our family.
The truth is that when CPS takes children into their custody there is money involved. The fact that many of these cases are falsely reported should be enough evidence to get anyone's attention.
You ask, "Why would those children be taken away from their families under false pretenses?" According to people who are investigating the CPS agencies with the help of people coming forward with inside information, there are cash bonuses that go to the state for each child that has been taken from their families.
We should not continue to stand by and allow this tragedy to continue for the sake of our own children and we should make it our goal to work toward keeping our families from being broken apart from a greed based government agency that puts children at risk, within a strangers care, instead of working toward keeping them with their families.
