Is Sodium Lauryl Sulfate An Ingredient In Your Shampoo?

If you read this question and your answer was, "I don't know.", then you are like most people who buy personal care products, without reading the ingredients label.

I am also guilty of not reading ingredients labels on my personal care products because I was under the impression that it shouldn't really matter what chemicals are in them because I am not ingesting them, but what about when my shampoo or conditioner gets into my eyes, my nose, or my mouth by accident? Couldn't this be something to suddenly be concerned about?

Recently I have been becoming more and more aware about the safety of my personal care products, so much so, that I am now on a mission to find safer personal care products to replace those unsafe products that I have been using, without much thought as to what the chemicals on the labels, could be causing to my health in the long run.

The hardest part for me, with doing these changes, is my willingness to change the brands that I have been using for a long period of time, but I now realize that if I don't take this important step in my life that I will ultimately cause my health to take a turn down the road of misery.

I am going to remain vigilante and I will eventually break the chain which blindly had me in the clutches of unsafe toxic personal care products, one product at a time, starting with the Shampoo and Conditioner that I use daily.

With that said, I hope that you, my loyal reader, will also become a personal care product label reader, so that you too can take the first step toward avoiding Toxic Chemicals from finding their way into your body.
