I felt the need to write about this outrageous profiling system that the TSA seems to have when it comes to keeping us safe from terrorists.
Lately I have been hearing about pregnant women, children, and the elderly being treated like they are possible terrorists. I am finding that to be very hard to believe.
It puzzle me as to why we are not hearing about the real terrorists trying to board an airplane. Does this mean that the TSA are spending too much time searching children, pregnant women, and the elderly so that the real terrorists are being ignored?
Why would they consider a child to be a threat of terrorism? Why would the TSA want to traumatize a child who was taught to never talk to strangers and to not let a stranger touch them?
What do you think would be going through the mind of a child when they are forced to go through a TSA enhanced pat down while their parent(s) can only just helplessly stand there afraid to say anything to the TSA agent because they might miss their flight.
I have had it with this type of treatment toward our children and it needs to stop.
The next thing that I would like to discuss is about a disturbing article that I had recently come across which is about a pregnant woman who became very traumatized by the way that she was treated by the TSA when she was forced to go through an enhanced pat down.
This soon to be mother became emotionally uncontrollable which of course caused stress to her unborn child.
I am also concerned about the elderly getting targeted for an enhanced pat down procedure because of the way that an elderly gentleman was treated when he told the TSA agent that he was wearing a urine bag that was hooked up to a catheter. Instead of taking his word for it the TSA agent persisted with the enhanced pat down and ended up causing the urine bag to leak all over the man's pants.
It saddens me that this man lost some of his dignity when he boarded his flight because his pants were now wet and smelled like urine.
We need to demand that the TSA stay out of the faces (and pants) of innocent people who chose to fly with that certain airline.
We must demand loudly that the TSA should be removed from airports, so that the airlines can hire their own security workers. We also need to demand that the x-ray radiation machines be removed from all airports, especially now that there is more than enough radiation in the air that we breath, since the Japan EQ/ Tsunami/ Nuclear power plant disaster happened.
We should also demand that there be new guidelines set for children, pregnant women, and the elderly to insure that they are not treated like some kind of terrorist, if there is no real justification for an enhanced search.
The videos that I am including will hopefully motivate anyone who makes a living flying, and it should also motivate anyone who enjoys traveling by air, to let the airports know that it is not cool to treat children, pregnant women, and the elderly like terrorists.
I am also including links for you to check out, which will take you further into the enhanced TSA experience, which I assure you isn't a good thing.
