Why Are So Many People Claiming That The U.S. Is A Police State?

Recently I came across some disturbing information involving different situations with the same end results.

The reason for this is that 4th amendment rights are being violated on a daily basis in America by way of the Patriot Act Law that was put into place by the Bush Administration.

One would think that since we have a new President, since January 2009, that this Patriot Act Law would have been discontinued, but no, the new President keeps allowing it to continue on even though America hasn't experienced another 911 incident since 2001. I guarantee that it wasn't because the Patriot Act was put into law as to why it hasn't happened again.

It is very appalling to me that President Obama hasn't put the Patriot Act on the back burner because he claims that he believes in the constitution and the freedom that it represents for U.S. citizens. If you listened to any of the speeches that he made during the many protests in the middle east you would hear him claiming that very thing.

Recently while the President was on his European tour Congress planned on using a Presidential signature stamp to renew one of the many Patriot Act Laws that were due to expire.

My question is, "Why would congress members even entertain that idea?" "What are they afraid of?" "Are they afraid that the regular U.S. citizens will get some of their rights back that they lose with the renewing of their unconstitutional Patriot Act Law?"

I am tired of them thinking that they can live above the law, while regular U.S. citizens are forced to live under these new laws, which are a violation of our human rights.

With the way that things are heading here in America you would think that more and more people would finally take a stand and demand that all of us are treated equally and fairly.

What is good for one person, no matter how much money they have, is good for everyone else.
