The police department is now using up to 55,000 volts of electricity on people, who they say were out of control, even while some of those people were calm, or sitting inside of their vehicles.
What I would like to know is whether or not those police officers would want one of those tasers to be used on their own mother, or spouse, or their preteen child? I would think not, unless those police officers had been brain washed, while they were in training.
What I also want to know is, why aren't Police departments using a tranquillizer gun, instead of a taser gun? I know that doesn't sound much better than using a taser gun, but I guarantee that it is.
Tranquillizer guns shoot darts that are filled with a tranquillizer, which temporarily sedates an animal, so that it can be handled or captured safely. Tranquillizer guns have a long history of non-injury, when used to capture wild life. I now need to say this to the people in charge ... "Are people not as important as the animals, when it comes to their safety?" And those people in charge should not hesitate to say "yes, the people are also important", and therefore, when you can say this to us, we the people, would then ask the people who work for the police department, to please put down their tasers and join us, when we say, "NO MORE TASERS".
I can tell you that most people are in agreement with knowing that those tasers are 'oh, so very wrong', and can be very dangerous. Those people are also realizing that the greedy (taser making) corporation only cares about making a profit, and that they don't really care about our safety. As you can see, we are a lot wiser to their tricks now, so I say to them, "how about telling us the truth now, instead of pretending that you have our best interest in mind, when you decide to allow horrible torturous things to happen to us, before we are proven guilty of any crime."
The next thing that I would like to know is, "Why would the police department want to injure people, who may or may not be guilty of a crime?" For the life of me, I can't understand how a human being would want to hurt another human being by electrocuting them. And don't give me the argument about, if the police didn't have a taser to use then they would be using a real gun instead, because my argument would be, "why not replace the taser gun with a tranquillizer gun? I say, problem solved.
I need to say that it doesn't make someone less of a person just because that person ended up getting caught up in the bad drug cycle. The fact that the government has allowed the cocaine industry to keep thriving, instead of bringing it to a halt, says a lot about who, and what the government is actually in support of. It certainly doesn't seem like support for the people, whom the government is suppose to be looking out for. Instead we have a government that allowed their people to become addicted to a drug (cocaine), which causes the user to die, a short time after they are hit by a taser. Because of that happening, they made up a name for the cause of death, which is 'Excited Delirium', so that the company that makes those tasers could not be held responsible for anyone's death.

What are your thoughts about the police using tranquillizer guns instead of taser guns? Please keep in mind that I would rather they used neither of those things, but since the other alternative would be for them to use their real guns, I am leaning toward the non lethal tranquillizer gun.
