2012 Debunked?

What if the person (Yuri Knorozov), who played a major role in deciphering Mayan Civilization's writing is wrong? What if someone out there made a video, which claims to be able to debunk him? The video shows what appears to be legitimate information, which could possibly prove that person's deciphering to be wrong, but how do we really know, who is right, and who is wrong? That is the million dollar question.
Who will you decide to believe? Would you decide to believe the doomsday scenario, or would you choose to believe that nothing disastrous will happen? I am thinking that you would probably choose the non-disastrous scenario, but here is something to think about. According to many other prophecies, including the Bible's revelations, the Earth will experience many devastating earth changes. For example, while we are approaching the year 2012, there will be more active volcanoes, more earthquakes, and stronger storms, that will cause extreme flooding, food shortages, homelessness, and death.
These first videos explain the Mayan prophecies, and what they believed would happen to the earth, as we get closer to December 21, 2012. It also includes predictions from the I Ching.

These next videos claim to debunk the prophecies, which lead to the end date on the Mayan calender.

Do you believe that the end is near?
